Paul King

My life has been a rollercoaster of dramatic highs and challenging lows. In a particularly difficult phase, I found myself nearly dropping out of life altogether. But everything changed a few years ago when I discovered spirituality.

I had a profoundly transformative experience with a medium that completely reshaped my understanding of existence. During our session, she connected me with my mother and father, who had long since passed. Hearing from them again felt surreal, as if time had folded in on itself. But what truly struck me was when she brought forward a friend who had taken his own life a decade earlier. I had been haunted by guilt, believing I had missed the signs that could have saved him.

The details he shared were specific and accurate, providing clarity about what had happened. He reassured me that there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. The relief was immediate, yet I found myself questioning how this was possible.

This encounter became more than just a moment of closure; it ignited a fire within me to explore the vast world of spirituality. I immersed myself in everything from ancient wisdom to modern practices, and as I learned, my intuition continued to strengthen. I realised my true calling was to create a space where others could explore their spirituality, connect with their loved ones, confront their questions about existence, and truly embrace the best version of themselves.

Thus, Awakin: The Rise in Consciousness was born – an immersive spiritual summit and exhibition designed not just to inform, but to transform. It offers healing, self-discovery, education, and collective awakening. I envisioned it as a vibrant community where people can share their stories, confront their fears, explore their curiosity, and elevate their consciousness together. It’s not just about understanding what happens after we die; it’s about living with peace, clarity and purpose in the here and now.

I can’t wait to see how this journey unfolds and the incredible experiences that will emerge within this space!

I think of myself as a ‘Spirit Ambassador’ working with spirit, for spirit and AS spirit.

I have been intuitive since childhood; my earliest spirit encounter was at age 4. Since a young child I have had a love for all things astrological and metaphysical, understanding very early that I was a ‘lightworker’.
I am now a practicing psychic medium with strong medical intuition and an energy healer, with more than 25 years’ experience and a have a client base worldwide. I work from a love of service and a service of love.
I own and operate a sacred healing space in Sutherland NSW. This space allows ancient wisdom to meet modern practice, a space for healing, transformation and spiritual growth of the mind body and soul.
I have been a teacher and healer myself for more than 23 years, with a background in Health Science, Bachelor of Nursing.

For over twenty years, I built my career in Branding and Marketing. But seven years ago, my life took a transformative turn. After experiencing profound losses, I began a journey of self-discovery—a path guided by curiosity, faith, and spirituality. It was through this process that I learned to reconnect my body with my soul and confront life’s challenges with openness and creativity.

Today, I am a spiritual artist specialised in collage, a medium I use to explore the subconscious and facilitate healing. My work is rooted in helping others navigate their own inner landscapes, using art and the breath as tools for self-expression, reflection, and transformation. Through workshops and events, I empower individuals to embrace their confusions and unlock their healing potential.

As a universalist, I draw wisdom from diverse spiritual practices to create experiences that foster growth, understanding, and connection. I believe that our shadows hold valuable lessons and that by embracing them, we can uncover the tools needed to expand and thrive.

The Afterlife Convention—Awakin—represents a beautiful convergence of my three life pillars: healing, communication, and community. It is a space where my purpose finds new depth, allowing me to impact more lives and contribute to a world where we support each other’s journeys. Together, we can embrace our shared humanity and build a future rooted in connection, understanding, and expansion.

My “Mack truck moment” came during my divorce at the age of 30. It was a life-altering experience that left me questioning everything. I found myself asking, “Why did this happen to me?” That question became the doorway to my spiritual journey, leading me to dive deeply into healing, reincarnation, the soul’s journey, life in between lives, and so much more. Along this path, I discovered Shamanism and Kabbalah, two transformative spiritual traditions that helped me understand the deeper truths of existence and my connection to the Divine.
Through my journey, I’ve come to embrace a deep faith in the Divine and the sacred dance of co-creation with Spirit. I believe that everything in our world is an extension of the Divine, and expression of God that continues to breathe life into us. Working together with Spirit, I’ve awakened to my purpose as an energy healer, channelling the wisdom and light I’ve found to help others heal, transform, and reconnect with their divine essence.
Today, my mission is to empower and inspire others, sharing the light I’ve discovered and sow seeds of growth, faith, and love. My hope is to help people recognise their own divine nature and the infinite potential they hold to co-create a life of meaning, joy, and spiritual alignment. Together, I believe we can create a ripple of healing and transformation that touches the world.
